This office assists Veterans
with obtaining benefits at county, state and federal level, and provides help in
filing VA service-connected disability claims.

The Commission of Veterans Affairs provides assistance to Howard County
Veterans who were discharged under Honorable Conditions and/or their family
members. Veterans need to have served 90 consecutive days of active Federal
service or have served at least 20 years in the National Guard or Reserves.
Help with the following needs is available, subject to eligibility

The Veterans Affairs department also provides assistance to ALL veterans
and/or their family members in applying for federal benefits and other veterans
